If you are familiar at all with Gabriel Brothers and their annual toy sale, then all I have to say are two words to make you happy…IT’S HERE! If you are not familiar, you should make yourself familiar if you would like to save some money on toys for the holidays. The annual toy sale is being advertised as starting November 3rd. However, my mom stopped in for something over the weekend and immediately texted me to let me know “The toys are in!”

I went there today to check it out and they are indeed stocked with a wide variety…for now. Lego City, Lego Star Wars, Lego Friends, Barbie, Dora, Minnie Mouse, Marvel Heroes, Playskool, Fisher-Price, Imaginex, Hot Wheels and a TON of Melissa & Doug toys. I checked some of the prices compared to Amazon and almost everything was $3-5 cheaper if not more. BUT, I also found one Lego City item that was LESS on Amazon. Often, some of the items at the toy sale are “last year’s” models. However, I did see some Lego Friends Jungle stuff and I know that’s out in stores right now. You just have to go in with an open mind and know your prices (or look them up while you are there like I did). I may have grabbed Henry an electronic Darth Vader light-saber 50% off because that’s on the top of his wish list already.

From past experience, I will tell you the toys go fast. As soon as word is out that the sale is on…it is quickly picked over. So if you are at all interested, go soon. These also make great gifts to throw in your “Gift Closet” for birthday presents and holiday donations. Happy Shopping!
