A friend recently brought these S’mores bars to our house. They were devoured by everyone. And they are peanut-free! She was kind enough to share the recipe. I made them in a 9 x 13 pan, but highly recommend a larger 10 x 15 pan. Mine still tasted yummy, but were “tall”. Very tall.
S’Mores Bars
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons of butter
- 16 oz. of mini marshmallows
- 12 oz. box of Golden Grahams
- 1 bag of Hershey's milk chocolate chips OR 6 regular Hershey's bars, chopped
Instructions
- Melt butter in microwave for about 30 seconds.
- Add marshmallows and stir.
- Microwave another 60 seconds.
- Stir until smooth. (Microwave more if necessary.)
- Add cereal and stir until well mixed.
- Add ¾ of the chocolate and stir quickly (try to minimize the melting).
- Press into a greased 10 x 15 pan.
- Sprinkle remaining ¼ of the chocolate on top and press lightly.
- Let cool.
- Cut and devour!
