I needed a sweet treat for our swim lesson instructors this holiday season. This session has definitely been interesting with Charlotte moving up to the 3-year old class early since she thinks she’s a fish and with the battle continuing between Stella and Water-in-Face. FYI – Stella is winning and manages to float on her back, float on her stomach, kick, scoop, jump in, etc. without ever getting her face in the actual water.
I cannot speak highly enough about the swim staff at Kids First. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. The customer service we’ve gotten has been outstanding. And it’s crazy to believe that most of them have known us since Stella started swim lessons about 4 years ago.
So when I saw the Santa Hat Brownies on Pinterest, I was sold. I followed Gourmet: Day to Day’s step-by-step instructions…ok, so it’s put strawberry on brownie, etc. However, I did make her buttercream icing which was too die for. Stella and I even dipped more strawberries in the extra icing for dinner tonight!
Mine aren’t quite as cute as the original on Pinterest. But I imagine she took a bit more time to make them look nicer. I was rushing to get them put together before we headed out the door.
Verdict? Everyone thought they were too cute. Great holiday addition to my baked good give-aways.
These are precious! I am so glad you enjoyed them as much as we did! I adore that butter cream icing, especially since it’s so easy to make. Great time saving tip to keep them square- still sends the same idea and they are still cute as a button! Thanks for stopping by my website!
Cute!
Oh, so cute! And I could totally make these nut-free for N.! So many of the little Santa/Christmas food crafts rely on candy that we can’t do around here. Love it! If we hadn’t already made her cupcake for her party tomorrow, I’d be whipping these up. Next year!
Thanks for the kind comments about my ball wreath, too!
Adorable! I just ate some of these at a mommy party last night. Delicious and so cute. The hostess last night served them on the pre-made Brownie bites — good tip for if you’re in a hurry!
I love these! How cute!
