Blog Challenge Day 12: What do you believe?
I started to write a long philosophical post about believing in everything happening for a reason (which drives Andy bananas) or something about questioning what I believe in as far as being Catholic, blah blah blah and then remembered IT’S 10K TUESDAY! So this is much easier considering my brain is tired since I have two sick kiddos.
I believe that goals change…my 10K will officially be a walking event due to the numerous things I’ve commented on the past couple of Tuesdays. HOWEVER, I have offically reached my fundraising goal! YAY! Thank you so much. My online page shows $430 and I have another $130 in cash/checks so far. Still plenty of time to add your donation!!!
I also believe that you can change your eating habits if you are determined. Being back on Weight Watchers and the new points system has definitely increased my intake of fruits and veggies. But I hate running to the grocery to restock those so frequently…I prefer fresh items and we go through them quickly.
I recently read about Green B.E.A.N. Delivery on the Surviving Motherhood website. Now, in all honesty, I was less concerned about my fruits/veggies being completely organic…that’s a bonus. I was more interested in the fact that they will deliver them to my door and they try to get as much locally as possible. Due to the 50% off first order deal with Surviving Motherhood…I signed up to give it a try this spring/summer.
Our first green tote arrived tonight around 6:15 and the girls were very interested in the process and what was in it. I’ll let you know how it goes!
That looks like a great assortment.
