Some of you saw on Facebook last week that I had never been to Izzy’s before. Crazy, right? Well, I fixed that over the weekend. The kids are starting to catch on that we go out and do things because of Take 10 With Tricia. The above is the result of them. “Hey MOM!!! Take a picture of us in front of THIS sign for Take 10”. And then they each happily posed with their meals for me as well.
Izzy’s has revamped their side order options for Kids Meals to give kids even more choices when creating their perfect Izzy’s meal! Kids can now choose from mandarin orange slices and applesauce as well as kiddie cakes (special kid sized potato pancakes) as a side dish to accompany their entree, and can choose between apple juice, white milk, chocolate milk, pink lemonade as well as a fountain drink as the beverage to accompany their meal. We went on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to discover that Kids Under 14 Eat FREE Saturdays with purchase of an adult meal (dine in only). I didn’t get an “after” photo, but the kids’ plates were EMPTY.
I tried the Turkey Reuben (yum), Andy had a corned beef sandwich, and my mom stuck with the original Reuben. All of us had the potato pancake and some pickles! It was really hard to choose from such a great menu. We can’t wait to go back and try some more!

It has been years since I have eaten at Izzys. I love Turkey Ruebens!!!
I never order anything but the Ruben and potato pancake with extra thousand island to dip the potato pancake in. I’m not sure what else is on the menu because I see no reason to look at it 🙂
I’ve never had a turkey reuben before, I’d order that.
I have never eaten there or had a reuben. I would try that.
Classic Reuben and potato pancakes!
I love Reubens….but I’d order a Suzzy…I get it every time. So much so that the waitress knows my order and says “you sure do like that Suzzy” every single time!
I would take my daughter to try it!
I’ve only been once and had the original Reuben. I would try the turkey one this time, and of course a potato cake and pickles.
Definitely turkey Reuben!
Haven’t been to Izzy’s in years! The (classic?) Reuben!
