Laundry Room Remodel

Home Remodeling In mid-2019 we decided it was time to update our laundry room which is also our kitchen pantry. One of the previous owners had installed built-in shelves, but they were starting to sag and had no adjustability. The shelves were stationary and couldn’t move up or down. Some of them were super deep

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  I’m shocked at how many people don’t enjoy this holiday.  Fall is one of my favorite seasons and I don’t mind Halloween at all. We Andy carved our pumpkin on Monday night. The kids loved it. Henry kept screaming about “the GUTS”. Charlotte collected the pumpkin seeds and practiced counting to 20. Stella

A Quick and Easy Ham Glaze Appetizer

Yes, a HAM GLAZE appetizer.  Sounds odd.  Sounds crazy.  But, oh. so. yummy.    Here’s a photo:       Now head over to Tastes From Tricia’s Table to get the super easy recipe.    You’ll thank me.  And so will whomever whoever whomever WHATEVER you serve it to.

Cincinnati Storyteller’s Project

Today at lunch I ran over to the Blue Manatee book store in Oakley.  I have to confess, it was my first time in the store.  I’ve walked past it many times, but never entered.  And everything written and said about it is absolutely true…fantastic place with great customer service. Recap of the Week Via Photos

Christmas Toy Shopping Deals

Yes, it is that time…time to think about Christmas shopping!  Tis the Season.   Please tell me someone else starts their Christmas shopping as early as I do.  I prefer to get it done EARLY.  At least 90% of it.  I always leave wiggle room for that last-minute requested item from the kids.  But when

Fall Church Picnic and THE Toffee Apple Dip

Fall Church Picnic and THE Toffee Apple Dip

Our church has an awesome Young Families Group run by a terrific mom.  We are so thankful for her volunteer efforts (and her husband’s).  The group mainly focuses on families that have children under the age of five.  The goal is to allow those families to build a community before starting kindergarten.  Our church also has a

Facebook Frustrations

I have seen a lot of Facebook status updates lately about Facebook itself and not showing you everything in your News Feed.  I didn’t think too much of it until I went to my BFF‘s personal page to post a very bad Halloween joke.  Because she LOVES bad jokes.  (You know you do.)  And then

I Got to be on Camera

I Got to be on Camera

We have a year-end video at work. Every year. Makes sense, right? Well, I’ve been filmed before. And cut. This year? Probably not.     I was interviewed via phone weeks beforehand. And made the first cut. Meaning I was video-worthy. To the point that I was even tagged as a “story line”. Hmmmm…   Our
