Team Ranger or Team Morelli??

Team Ranger or Team Morelli??

So I just got back from a long road trip that started on Tuesday.  I was in the car for about 11-12 hours in total.  From here to Louisville to Nashville back to Louisville and now home.  To pass the time, I checked out a few books on CD from the library.  If I could

Top Ten Items You’ll Find in My Van

So now-a-days my van is more like an RV…we could probably live out of it due to the supplies you’ll find inside.  Here’s my Top Ten for the week – a list of what you will find in the mini on any given day: Food.  I have a stash of kid-friendly and mommy-friendly items in one

Garage Sale Lessons

Garage Sale Lessons

I took part in our Neighborhood Garage Sale this past weekend.  This was probably my fourth or fifth garage sale.  Here is what I have learned from the repeated experience: If you do it to make a lot of money, ha!  There are better ways to make some extra cash.  I totaled about $150 for

The Dinner That Would Kill Their Kids

Last night was our annual “Dinner That Would Kill Your Kids” dinner.  We have a few friends that have a child who is allergic to peanuts/nuts in their families.  And we’re talking serious allergies.  Completely peanut-free homes.  That’s a lot of love for a kid.  Andy and I are so fortunate that our kids (so

Good Things Come in Yellow Boxes

It’s been a mentally draining week at work and home (all good things!). Yesterday I received a package from a dear friend. I expected hand-me-downs (the norm): But found a yellow box inside…yet still expected hand-me-downs: But wait!  They were LARGE…momma-feet sized: And they were NEW and for me! (Don’t ya love my jammie pants?) I

I LOVE Field Trips!

I LOVE Field Trips!

Read yesterday’s post first.  Go.  Do it.  Ok, welcome back.  So now you know that I am out of town.  Alone.  By myself.  Doing whatever I want to do.  Which means I’ve been listening to this in the car: I don’t mind Tori Spelling.  She did name her daughter Stella, so she must be ok.  I’ve

Momma’s Taking a Field Trip

So tomorrow I get to head south for an overnight bright and early.  The “bus” leaves at 6 AM.  I have to travel to Knoxville, TN for work…facilitating a training workshop on competencies Monday afternoon and then repeating it Tuesday morning before returning home. I’m a planner…and want to make use of my time away.

I Spy…Bicycles!

This afternoon at Costco I spied something SPECTACULAR: Bicycle Jammies!  I mean, seriously, check out those baby boy pj bottoms: And in the cart they immediately went. See, I’m a SUCKER for bicycles.  LOVE promoting them in any way possible. Check out the newest t-shirts I bought myself: And this shirt I found on clearance awhile

3 Wishes

Wish #1 – No more Blog Challenge! No, I assume if I really did get 3 Wishes, I’d ask for things for my children – health, happiness, children of their own, long lives, travels, good jobs, etc.  Or things to better the world – help for the tornado devastation in Alabama, feed the poor, house

What Stresses Me Out

Blog Challenge Day 28: What’s something that stresses you out? Other than this blog challenge?  Ummmmmm…CLUTTER and disorganization. I know, hard to believe from a woman whose dining room still looks like THIS most days.  I think I have just blocked that room out of my mind.  I pretend it is a LARGE closet and has
