Discounted Wine? Yes, Please!

Discounted Wine? Yes, Please!

Most of you who know me well…know I love this:     Earlier this year I was at a lunch with a business partner and she clued me in on the best thing ever for a person like me.  A website that sells wine at a discounted price.  If you are a wine-lover and don’t

Certified

Bucket list…check! I didn’t truly understand the time, effort, and energy this would require when I started the program four weeks ago, but let’s just say that five webinars, five papers, and the last two days of an intense practicum are now a wine bottle blur. – Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

For a Good Laugh

Here are two links I came across this week that made me laugh until I cried. The One With The Fart:http://hahasforhoohas.com/the-fart-that-almost-altered-my-destiny/ The One Where A Girl Shats On Frat Boys (only funny because she’s ok in the end):http://mylifeandkids.com/2012/08/finding-the-funny-29-and-im-in-the-powder-room/ And a quick picture of my crazy crew out for ice cream the other night… – Posted

A Little of This and a Little of That

Things are busy around here…very busy. I’m at that point where I have lots of little snippets of things to blog about, but little time to do it and plan it out over a week. So here are a few lumped together. A random hodge-podge of updates. Charlotte has been having a lot more “green”

Run, Do Not Walk

OMG! Seriously, this may become my new favorite indulgence. If you like caramel at all…this is for you! The swirls of sea salt caramel are plentiful. Although the chocolate covered caramel truffles are tiny, they still burst in your mouth. Yummy! The only bummer is that I didn’t see it in pint-sized. Therefore, I quickly

My Go-To Work Lunches

Typically, I’m a brown bag type of working mom. Even if my “brown bag” is now a brown Thirty-One thermal tote! My preferred lunch is a fresh turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato, a veggie like carrot sticks or cucumber slices, and a fruit like the fresh strawberries I had today. I always end it

Kirkland Toddler Boots

If you love the Kirkland UGG-style boots as much as I do…they’re back! At least the toddler and youth ones were on display today at my Costco. We got two new pairs for Stella this year. She chose pink again, but this year they seem darker and have hearts on them. And she opted for

Fifty Shades of Grey Party This Weekend

Fifty Shades of Grey Party This Weekend

http://www.lollymerchant.com/product/3001     Unfortunately the party isn’t in Australia…or all of the guests would be leaving with their own whips…Cadbury, of course!   I finally finished all three of the Mr. Grey books.  And about 20 women are scheduled to come over Saturday night to discuss the trilogy.  There are door prizes for everyone

And the Verdict Is…

Kind of in between based upon stylist’s recommendation due to my hair type. We are going to wait until the next cut closer to fall to incorporate more bangs due to heat and humidity right now. Hope y’all don’t hate it! – Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

Haircut Time, But Which One??

Haircut Time, But Which One??

Let the votes begin.  You only have about 4 hours, but I am scheduled for a haircut this afternoon. And it’s time for a change…but just how much of a change?  You help me decide. So, here I am today.  In the photo below you will see long, yucky, heavy, no real layers hair.  I

Birchbox

Birchbox

Ever heard of Birchbox?  I hadn’t.  Not until I saw that Stephanie from girls, pearls and combat boots had signed up and loved it.  And then another blogger mentioned that her husband loved the fuzzy socks he recently received.  I was intrigued.   Here’s how it’s described on their website:   “Birchbox is
