If you haven’t heard of and/or tried Abby Girl Sweets cupcakes yet…you are missing out. I knew there was a location downtown about a block from Fountain Square, but I did not realize until recently that we had one out here in the ‘burbs. Last week I was in the vicinity and just had to stop in and grab a few for myself. The store is located in Blue Ash on Glendale Milford near City BBQ. I went in around 12:30. I watched many people come out of the store, but was the only one in there when I finally made it inside. However, by the time I was finished ordering, there was a line of 10-15 people behind me!

The cupcakery has a flavor of the week that is always posted on Facebook. The rest of their flavors are posted on their website. They do not guarantee that the cupcake flavor you want will be in stock. They suggest you custom order a few days in advance if you only want a certain flavor.

When I brought them home, I left them in the bag because I was taking them to a function later. Henry saw the bag below and yelled, “CUPCAKES!!” so I guess they are a hit with our family. He was rather disappointed to know that they were not indeed for him. But he still wanted me to take them out and let him see what they looked like.

So I did. I got a variety. You can buy as many or as few as you want. I needed six. But once I realized I was going to leave with two boxes of three with one spot open in each box? I added two more.

I tried the Vanilla, Lemon, Triple Chocolate, Red Velvet, Carrot Spice, Salted Caramel, Strawberry Delight, and Double Trouble (chocolate filled with buttercream).

Normally, I would have eaten them with a big glass of cold milk. But for this function…they went just fine with red wine. We split them into quarters on a platter and tried them all – one forkful at a time! They were divine.

What is your favorite sweet shop or bakery?

{This is not a sponsored post. I paid my own $20 for the cupcakes – $2.50/piece. And they were worth it! Go get some.}

I Decided to Delete Facebook

I Decided to Delete Facebook

  I must admit that Facebook is such a time-sucker for me. And I find myself wanting to check it more and more and more often. And then when I do an hour goes by before I realize I’ve been sitting scrolling through Facebook on my phone for an hour. Ugh. And in reality, I

Did You Know…

Here are a few things I’ve learned over the last year that I wish someone had told me sooner… Did you know…that you can order fries at Chick-fil-A “well-done” and they are crispy and not mushy? I did it on my last visit and they were awesomely perfect. Did you know…that when you are at Chick-fil-A,

Spring Break 2015

Highlights from our “staycation” Spring Break this year… The start of Spring Break was AMAZING. This was my view when Spring Break started on Friday at 4:00… Andy took the kids to his parents for the weekend without me! I was alone for 48-hours. And I made use of every single minute. I purposely did
