S’Mores Bars


A friend recently brought these S’mores bars to our house. They were devoured by everyone. And they are peanut-free! She was kind enough to share the recipe. I made them in a 9 x 13 pan, but highly recommend a larger 10 x 15 pan. Mine still tasted yummy, but were “tall”. Very tall.

S’Mores Bars
  • 6 tablespoons of butter
  • 16 oz. of mini marshmallows
  • 12 oz. box of Golden Grahams
  • 1 bag of Hershey's milk chocolate chips OR 6 regular Hershey's bars, chopped
  1. Melt butter in microwave for about 30 seconds.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir.
  3. Microwave another 60 seconds.
  4. Stir until smooth. (Microwave more if necessary.)
  5. Add cereal and stir until well mixed.
  6. Add ¾ of the chocolate and stir quickly (try to minimize the melting).
  7. Press into a greased 10 x 15 pan.
  8. Sprinkle remaining ¼ of the chocolate on top and press lightly.
  9. Let cool.
  10. Cut and devour!
