Cincinnati Storyteller’s Project

Today at lunch I ran over to the Blue Manatee book store in Oakley.  I have to confess, it was my first time in the store.  I’ve walked past it many times, but never entered.  And everything written and said about it is absolutely true…fantastic place with great customer service.

I was looking for this book, Cincinnati: Our City, Our Story.  It’s a book by the Cincinnati Storyteller’s Project.  Basically a group collaborated to put together this story book about Cincinnati and it was even illustrated by local children.

Santa always brings us a small family gift.  One year it was a movie and last year it was a board game.  This year?  This book.  I think it will be fun to read about Cincinnati to the kids while looking at the great drawings.  Check out Mr. Redlegs!

There are still copies left…even autographed ones.  So head to Blue Manatee and grab one for yourself or for the perfect gift.  The project benefits Every Child Succeeds.
