Tinga de Pollo – Kroger’s Taste of Mexico
 
Ingredients
  • 1 Rotisserie Chicken
  • 2 Cans (10.75 oz.) of Tomato Soup
  • 2 cups of Onions, diced
  • 4 Chipotle Chiles in Adobo Sauce (canned)
  • Flour Tortillas
  • Shredded Taco Cheese, Avocado, Cilantro and Sour Cream to Garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat pan over medium heat.
  2. Remove meat from the chicken and shred.
  3. Puree chilies and tomato soup in a blender or food processor.
  4. Place onions in skillet. Once translucent, add chicken.
  5. Add chilies and soup mixture to the pan.
  6. Stir all ingredients.
  7. Allow to simmer 10-15 minutes.
  8. Serve chicken mixture in a tortilla with garnishes.
