Valentine Paper Plate Party Hat Craft

Valentine Paper Plate Party Hat Craft

These hats are a Valentine Party favorite. They are super easy to prepare and a fun craft to decorate. All you need is a stack of paper plates, a pair of scissors and some art supplies.

It’s best if an adult prepares the plates before the decorating. Fold the plate in half and cut out a heart shape as shown above and below. You might need to have a child model the hat to see how much of the plate you will need to keep to make it fit.

Use stickers, markers, crayons and other materials to decorate the hat!

What’s your favorite Valentine craft?

Main Event Entertainment – West Chester Location

While staying at the hotel for our house remodel, we ran into a lot of Main Event Entertainment staff. We struck up a conversation with Ryan from Texas who told us all about the new location here in West Chester and told us to stop in sometime soon. Today Andy and I had a date

Snowman Snowball Shooter Craft

Snowman Snowball Shooter Craft

The Snowman Snowball Shooter is always a popular item at the school holiday parties. I made them a few years ago with Stella’s class and I’m going to make them again this week with Charlotte’s. The supplies are easy to find, the prep work is not too bad, and the kids love every minute of

Cincy Brew Bus

Cincy Brew Bus

Cincinnati is hopping with craft beer. (ha ha) And my husband LOVES beer. He also turned the big 40 on Christmas Day. But…It’s kind of hard to throw a birthday party during the holiday season. Instead, I scheduled a surprise craft beer tasting tour through Cincy Brew Bus a month AFTER his birthday. And surprised

Pumpkin Ring Toss – Harvest Party Game

Pumpkin Ring Toss – Harvest Party Game

A lot of schools stick to Harvest Parties in the fall with themes of apples and pumpkins instead of ghosts and gobblins. Last year I helped plan Stella’s classroom party. It was a lot of fun. The coordinators had to come up with two crafts and two games. (One of our crafts was the Pumpkin Patch

Dogwood Art Studio

Dogwood Art Studio

Friday night a group of friends from our neighborhood went to Dogwood Art Studio to do some painting. We had a lot of fun. Robin was a fantastic hostess and led all of us through the process of blank canvas to masterpiece. Some of us drank a little more than others…so some were more masterpieces

Celebrate by Kate

Celebrate by Kate

Imagine that Pinterest and Party City got together and had an adorable child. That’s how I would describe the party supply boutique Celebrate by Kate located in Madeira. Kate is the actual owner and she’s the sweetest thing ever. Her party supply store carries very fun and unique supplies you will not find anywhere else. Her

Baby Doll Themed Birthday Party

Baby Doll Themed Birthday Party

Holiday Party Ornament Toss Game

Holiday Party Ornament Toss Game

Stella’s Holiday Party is tomorrow and (again) I am the coordinator.  I really enjoyed being involved with the Harvest Party and look forward to tomorrow as well.  I waited until the last minute to decide on what games we will be playing.  I searched Pinterest and did not really find anything I loved.  Then my

Harvest Party Pumpkin Patch Fingerprint Craft

Harvest Party Pumpkin Patch Fingerprint Craft

Stella’s Harvest Party is this afternoon at school.  And I, no surprise here, am the coordinator.  I actually did NOT sign up for this, but when no one else did either…I stepped in and took over.  Luckily, there were other volunteers for the elements of the party (treats, paper plates, party helpers, etc.) just no
