Condado Tacos

Condado Tacos

Location – The Banks

Condado Tacos is located downtown Cincinnati at the Banks. It sits right across the street from the Reds stadium and the Hall of Fame Museum and right below the AC Marriott hotel. You can’t miss it. Especially on a warm day when the garage doors are open and the bright artwork is visible. It’s one of those places that just calls you inside when you walk by it on the street. We didn’t plan to go, but stopped in before a Reds game to check it out and grab some food due to the lively atmosphere.

Seating

We were not disappointed. We put our name on the wait list and ordered drinks from the bar. It was a short wait before a spot at one of the tables became open. Condado Tacos is a wide open space with very large tables. So chances are that you will be seated at the same table as another party. However, it does not feel overcrowded or intrusive. The four of us were on one end of a table and four others were seated at the opposite end. It was loud enough in the restaurant that I did not feel like I was actually dining with them.

The Food

Then you order in a unique manner. You are given a paper menu because they are known for their build-to-order items. You literally go down a checklist and decide which kind of tacos you want to order – pick your shell, your protein (lots of vegetarian options), and your toppings. You can also create nachos or a bowl. They do offer a list of signature items if you want to go with one of their pre-built recommended choices. We selected a few tacos and an order of nachos. We also knew we wanted some guacamole and chips. The waiter recommended the Tuscan guacamole. Oh my deliciousness. I never imagined guacamole with artichoke hearts and balsamic. It might be a new favorite and the #1 reason I would return.

Overall, the food was fantastic – fresh and flavorful. it was definitely a place we will return. As much as we love to try new restaurants, we also love to discover places we like to visit again and again. Condado Tacos will definitely be a place we repeat!

Cincy Brew Bus

Cincy Brew Bus

Cincinnati is hopping with craft beer. (ha ha) And my husband LOVES beer. He also turned the big 40 on Christmas Day. But…It’s kind of hard to throw a birthday party during the holiday season. Instead, I scheduled a surprise craft beer tasting tour through Cincy Brew Bus a month AFTER his birthday. And surprised
